Just a little update

I just wanted to remind people, or perhaps inform some people for the first time, how to post on the site.

Merry Christmas to all!

I just want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!

If you happen to not celebrate Christmas then a happy <insert holiday name here>!

Reminder about site registration

This mainly goes out to the spammers, even though I know they won't read it, but it's also good information for people who are going to register for access to the site.

Site Registration Rules Revised October 12, 2007

Formatting Capabilities Added

Finally! I've managed to get a WYSIWYG editor working on the site. This should make it easier for people to do all of the specific formatting that they want to do without having to know how to program the tags necessary to do things.

Scoring system is now active

I have added a scoring/rating system to the site. Feel free to rate any story, book page, article or blog entry on a scale from 1 to 5, with 1 being the lowest rating and 5 being the best rating. And while you are at it, leave the author some feedback to help him or her out with their writing endeavors.

User Classifications

I've added a User Classifications page that defines the user roles available, what they can do and how they are assigned.
Feel free to comment on them or ask any questions or make suggestions that you think will make things work better.

Missing in action

Just wanted to let you know why I've been missing in action for the first part of the year. My wife delivered our baby daughter (Josephine Elizabeth) on Thursday, March 15th at 5:04 PM. The time up to then was taken up by all of the baby preparation and the time since then has been divided between sleeping and taking care of the baby.

Merry Christmas to everyone!

I just wanted to take a minute and wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! I don't know that I'll be on the computer much over the next couple of days so I figured I'd take time to do this now.

I hope everyone has a great holiday and gets plenty of fun toys in their stockings!

Posting spam links

Just a quick reminder that anyone found spamming the site with referral links that do no pertain to writing or anthropomorphic content will have their posts removed and their account disabled. There will be no warnings and no second chances.

This hasn't been a big problem to this point and I want to be sure it doesn't become one.

Thanks.

Steve
